My Story

Hello, and welcome to Graft Coaching. Graft can mean many things. Graft is a slang term for hard work, graft is a practice in gardening to promote healthy and new growth, and graft also serves as an acronym for what we do: “Growing Relationship and Fostering Trust.”

As social creatures, we need relationships. They are hard work, can be confusing, and while rewarding, they can also be dangerous if the relationship is unhealthy. I spent my career working with teens and families to build healthy relationships that would carry them throughout their lives. My wake-up call about how difficult and dangerous relationships can be happened during my divorce. It was then, and the immediate time that followed, that I learned how few resources there were for those going through the trauma of divorce. I saw how much help was needed for people looking to make a better life and secure their cherished parental relationships. Years later, I have learned that divorce can be an opportunity to reconnect with who you are and establish healthier relationships than you could have imagined.

Graft Coaching is my way of providing the support I wish I had during my own divorce. As a coach, I bring my skills, education, certifications, and experience to help people navigate divorce and improve their relationships with their children. I'm passionate about this work and I'm here to help in any way I can. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I look forward to the possibility of working with you.
